How much does it cost to acquire several aerial images?

There is no standard set cost to acquire aerial images. Every client's requirements are different. It really depends on where your site is, the number of sites involved, the size of images needed, the amount of images needed, the size of the print(s) needed or the size of images on CD needed.

Is there a discount for multiple sites on the same flight?

Yes, depending on how many and where they are.

Am I required to pay in advance of a flight?

No, generally payment is not due until the job is completed. On occasion, on a large job, a deposit may be required.

How long does it take to acquire aerial images?

The main consideration is the weather, i.e., haze and clouds, but generally it only takes one or two weeks to acquire aerial images.

But, what if I need aerials right away?

If haze and cloud shadows are not a problem, a custom flight can be scheduled, but it is generally a little more expensive.

How will I be able to see the aerial images taken and choose the ones I want?

The images will be posted on the Aerial Perspectives web server within a day or two of the flight. A link will be provided for you to view these images and select the one(s) you want. A printed contact sheet can be provided, but that takes longer.

I live in a tract home. Will my home show well in an aerial?

If your neighbors aren’t too close to you, it will be fine. However, you will see a portion of most of your immediate neighbors homes in your image, even if we roll in as close as our lenses and aircraft will let us.

I am not sure what angles to ask you to take of my site even after looking at your Sample Angles. What should I ask for?

Give us the best vision of what you are looking for. We will take that shot and plenty of others that we think you might like. It looks a lot different when you get in the air. We are confident we will bring back images to suit your requirements.

Can I go with you on the flight to show you exactly what I want?

Sorry. we will give you a ride someday, but we are not allowed to take passengers on a photo shoot. We will use our experience and judgement, based on your request, to bring you images to fit your requirements (see previous question).
